Scott McFeters & Vatik Dulo, two young men from GPBC, are on an extended missions trip in the Philippines and Thailand, assisting missionaries and national pastors with much needed construction projects.
In Roxas, Philippines, working with BIMI missionary Rick Fallon, the young men assisted with soul winning and discipleship. Scott preached and then the young men directed the construction of a house for a national pastor whose home was destroyed in the recent typhoon.
Missionary Rick Fallon planned for a special day for the Sunday Bro. McFeters and Bro. Dulo were there, and they saw over 160 in attendance for the Sunday morning service where Bro. McFeters preached. There were 50+ first time visitors, and 32 adults trusting Christ as Savior. Several others were saved in personal evangelism, and the young men were able to lead in some home discipleship classes as well.
Then, a quick trip to Thailand for a little more than a week where they traveled with BIMI missionary Jonathan Ballou to assist a national work among the Lisu people in the mountains near the border of Myanmar (Burma).
Today, they traveled back to the Philippines where they will be working in Cebu with BIMI missionary Frank Denisi, planning to assist with rebuilding projects related to the recent typhoon.
Please continue to pray for Bro. Scott and Bro. Vatik as they minister. Pray for their physical health and safety, for souls to be saved, and that they will be a blessing and encouragement to the missionaries and national pastors and churches to whom they minister.
We are excited to announce that the Nursery Remodel project is just about complete, and the “Sheepfold” is now OPEN!
Thank you to everyone who had a part with giving through the Dream Fund to finance this major remodeling project, as well as the many, many hours of labor that went into the project. Last week, dozens of volunteers put the finishing touches on the project with painting, installing trim work and cleaning not only the nursery project, but also a thorough “Spring Cleaning” of the entire church building.
God Bless You for your labor of love for the House of God.
Thank you to all those who labored on Monday to plant flowers at the church in preparation for our guests on Easter Sunday!

Thank you for praying and for giving! To God be the glory, great things hath He done through You!
“His Hands Extended!”
Faith Promise Missions Revival Sept 18-21
Our Missions Revival is just three weeks away! Please be praying as we approach this time of revival and recommitment to world wide evangelism!
Our theme this year is “His Hands Extended!” The Psalmist said, “That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast done it” (Psalm 109:27).
Dr. Charles T. Shoemaker of Church Planting America will be our keynote speaker this year. We will also have missionaries from all over the world present in this year’s meeting!
I am praying that God will help us to become “His Hands Extended to a lost and dying world!” Please make plans not to miss even one of the services starting Sunday Sept. 18, with Sunday School at 9:45am, Sunday Morning at 11am, and Sunday Night at 6pm. The Revival will continue each evening Monday through Wednesday at 7pm.
God bless, and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! I know that it is Labor Day weekend, but if you are not out of town I know that I can count on you being faithful to church this Sunday!
