Posted in E-News Alert, GPBC Events, Pastor's Notes

You are invited to join us this Sunday, October 28, for FRIEND DAY at GPBC!

There are classes for all ages at 9:45AM, where children learn about the love of Christ in age-appropriate settings, and adults are challenged in their walk with Christ in one of our nine Adult Bible Studies.

In the 11:00AM Morning Worship Service,

Pastor Rick Adams

there will be Christ-honoring music from our choir and congregational singing, and Pastor Rick Adams

will bring a Bible message that will clearly present the truths of the Gospel.

Every visitor will receive a special gift from GPBC just to say “thank you” for being our guest.

Mark & Mary Gray

Our special guests for all the services this Sunday will be gospel singer, Mark Gray, along with his wife Mary.  You will be blessed by his music in the 11:00AM service.  Be sure to be back Sunday night at 6:00PM for a Gospel Music Concert of Testimony and Praise with Bro. Mark Gray.  You don’t want to miss this!

GPBC Summer Revival – August 12-15

Posted in E-News Alert, GPBC Events, Pastor's Notes

Evangelist Dave Sommerdorf will be our guest speaker Sunday, August 12 through Wednesday, Aug 15 at GPBC!

There are three Scriptural prerequisites that will help us personally prepare for this Summer Revival:

  • There must be a SPIRITUAL EXAMINATION of our own hearts!
  • There must be SCRIPTURAL EXHORTATION from our guest Preacher!
  • There must be a SPIRIT OF EXPECTATIONby every GPBC member!!

Psalms 85:6 asks the question, “ Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”

Please make plans to attend every service, and please pray and invite your unsaved and unchurched friends and loved ones to come with you!

All Adult and Teen Sunday School Classes will meet in the Auditorium at 9:45 am where Brother Sommerdorf will teach!

God bless you! See you Sunday!

Celebrate Father’s Day at GPBC! – June 17, 2018 11am

Posted in GPBC Events, Pastor's Notes

Not long ago I read these words describing a dad:

A dad is a mender of toys, and a leader of boys.
He’s a changer of fuses, and a healer of bruises.
He’s a mover of couches, and a soother of ouches.
He’s a pounder of nails, and a teller of tales.
He’s a dryer of dishes, and a fulfiller of wishes.

Yes, a dad is a lot of things when it comes to being a father…but at GPBC we think Dad’s are Special!

God commands us to honor our fathers! Exodus 20:12. This Sunday at 11 am we will celebrate Father’s Day and honor every father present here at GPBC.

We also have a special gift for every Dad that attends this Sunday!

Our Teen Department will serve every dad present a frosty root beer float!

Please invite your Dad to be with you if he is able. If not please invite any father that you can and make this Sunday a day that he will remember in eternity!

I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

Pastor Rick Adams

God bless!
